0.5g/L doubles fertility
2.0g/L has slight negative effect

0.5g/L corresponds to 340mg NR for a 50kg person
0.5g/L corresponds to 500mg NMN for a 50kg person

Thanks for this information! Just curious, did you calculate the human dosage yourself or find it somewhere? I'm trying to figure out the best dosage to take, i've been taking NMN for awhile now but it seems I've been taking too much

Alivebynature says the low dose equals 350 mg NMN and high dose is 1400 mg.

I guess that may explain why studies or self-experiments with 2 or 3 grams of NMN or NR don't find great results - may actually be worse.

I've been thinking that a large dose just increases need for methyl donors.

But if too much NMN/NR -> excess NAM -> inhibits sirtuins, would methyl donors even fix the issue?

My guess is when you take over 1g NMN/NR everyday, your cells are saturated with NAM and NAM inhibit the NAD+ consuming processes.

I did it myself. The number depends on assumptions. So everyone will come up with a different number.
