The main weakness in the study is that it was not placebo controlled, as the authors admit, but it was also not controlled for vitamin supplementation (should have been the control group, the vitamin group, and the placebo group). If some or all of the study participants were not taking vitamin D (and other vitamins) prior to the study and then started taking it during the trial, that could have contributed to some of the positive result.

Do you think vitamin D plays a role?

The ingredients are vitamin D and Calcium alpha ketoglutarate.  I don't figure this is the same as alpha ketuglutarate, because there are different versions, like ornithine and arginine.

Looking at what NOVOS (a competitor) says, this product isn't as good as they claim, and the epigenetic clock they use isn't great.

This is old news, I just assumed everyone knew about AKG by now and has tried it.

It reversed my methylation age 14 years in 7 months.

Attention:

People looking for calcium akg that isn't rejuvant because it's crazy expensive:

For those of you wondering about calcium alpha ketoglutarate, I spoke to Twin Arbor Analysis about their results for Pro Health, and I spoke to MAXX HERB about why there is no company information on their COA.

The results are in this thread:

https://www.longecit...st-certificate/

Summary:

Pro Health's test results are legit, as verified by the lab, whom I spoke to on the phone

Maxx Herb is playing the secretive game and their COA looks fake AF and there's no way to verify it was even tested.

The other brands are:

Renue by Science: Liposomal version.  I know nothing about this.

Rejuvant: ultra expensive.  Likely real.
