Phlorizin as a sglt2 inhibitor is found in...

osris's Photo osris 22 Dec 2022

A natural SGLT2 inhibitor is phlorizin, which is found in apple bark. SGLT2 inhibitors have been linked longevity:

Unfortunately, apple bark extract has yet to be formulated as a food supplement. And I can find no other natural (non-synthetic/drug) form of SGLT2 inhibitors available for sale.

Are any of you aware of any?

Here is a supplier of phlorizen:

I see life extension also has a product with 200mg of phloridzin in it called Tri Sugar Shield.

Interested to know how equivalent phloridzen is to a pharma sglt2 inhibitor. Maybe someone with a cgm can offer some observation?
