hsCRP: What's Optimal, Which Factors M...

Amazing work Michael with your food tracking so rigorous since 2015!

I always like your hsCRP videos as this biomarker is to me one of the most important. I suffer of a sub-clinical infection, as many I guess, though unrecognized, as we are constantly attacked by viruses and bacterial in our normal life. Due to immuno-senescence this might explain the rise of hsCRP with age.

Sometimes I got up to 1.3-1.5 but was successful in lowering back to 0.8, not lower unfortunately, which I realize though is not what you are targeting to. Something which I am quite sure helped me is Ashwaganda supplementation (and Curcumin). The Ashwaganda supplementation, reputed to help with stress reduction, might possibly also relate to your point on HR which also points to the old-good-rule of moderation in exercise, a stressor, and its hormesis mechanism of action, IMHO.
