Bailout put into perspective (NYT pic)

luv2increase's Photo luv2increase 29 Sep 2008

$2.95 Trillion spending versus $2.5 Trillion in revenue = $450 Billion additional yearly debt (doesn't include the money we owe on loans!!!!!)

And Obama Boy wants to spend spend spend some more and supposedly lower taxes.

This would increase spending & decrease revenue which will make our economy worse and worse and worse!

Don't take my word on it; do the math yourself.

OBama = Bad for America

Then he wants to make it harder for corporations to do business in the US which will cause businesses to do business overseas. I hate to say it, but on this path, we are logically destined to astronomical economic failure!

Thanks for posting the graph it's interesting.

One thing that I've noticed about this bailout plan that gives me some hope is the fact that the Democrats theoretically could pass their own plan without any republican votes, but they can't. The communist faction of the Democrat party which are in charge, don't have enough votes on their own, and what's left of the old time America loving Democrats won't go along with their communist ideas about totally socializing the banking system. Also there's the problem that no matter what they do someones going to get the blame, and they want a bi partisan agreement so the Democrats won't get all the blame. Also I think there's a genuine concern there could be calls for an investigation into who's responsible. If that happens there's going to be plenty of heads roll on both sides of the isle.

We can assume the Democrats are pretty worried about it because if it were mostly just Republicans they would have already called for a investigation loudly. Instead they want to hurry up and pass legislation to claim they fixed it. Do you really think Pelosi would pass up a chance to hang this on the Republicans if she could? Think again.
