Woody Allen

It seems like he would be a good person to contact to inform him about the work of the methuselah foundation. I suppose I don't know much about him though, has he signed up for cryonics?

My girlfriend was telling me about hearing a recent interview with Woody Allen about his new movie... She mentioned that in the interview he lamented the fact that he was going to die. See this link: http://www.npr.org/t...oryId=105400872

Yes I've always know Woody was an atheist who has always been petrified of death. I don't know if his recent public image in the media often portrayed as sexually irresponsible especially with his step daughter would do much good for the life extension cause. There are many other celebrites who dislike death that could do wonders for getting the importance of this cause out to the public. But it's an interesting idea.

Interesting stuff. I naturally agree. People like Allen should be contributing to the cause! It makes me mad when people show an interest in LE but do nothing about it. I really would like to contact Allen, although I don't think he would be a good ambassador and representative for the cause, I love Allen and would like to show him some hope on the horizon.
I don't understand still why more celebs are not interested in cryonics. It would be pennies out of their pockets and it could save their lives of course. I think we should try to contact Allen at some point and send him a letter and a copy of Aubrey's book, but this is not first priority.

It's weird, isn't it? It is almost as if being famous makes people less likely to try cryonics than average. Like perhaps subconsciously they are thinking "I've already obtained immortality through fame, so I can't also achieve it by not dying."I don't understand still why more celebs are not interested in cryonics. It would be pennies out of their pockets and it could save their lives of course. Rather ironic, in Woody Allen's case.
