This is kind of historic for ImmInst. Its our first peice of serious research that we are funding. We only have until the 17th, every dollar you donate is matched dollar for dollar. No donation is to small. If $5.00 is all you have, that will help get us there.

This is to ablate lipofuscin, if this works or produces any positive results it will be huge. Its one of the 7 main deadly forms of damage. This is pound for pound, dollar for dollar a direct way for you to help leverage progress for this cause. There are scarcely better opportunities that I can think of.

ForeverFreedom and I have formed a matching offer with in a matching offer. Once a total of 20 of us join this then we will all give $20.00. The deadline for this is this wednesday August 5th and then we are going to do another one. Let me know here if you want to join that. But if you have the means to give beyond that, then skip this 20 person drive. If you can only donate $1.00 then please do that too.

I'm getting a little nervous here. Since every dollar is getting matched, we basically need to raise $8000 which for a community like this is not that much. If we don't even come close then it might be a sign that maybe people aren't ready to take the next step and might not be for some time. I put $100 in as soon as the grant came up, and I have about another $150 put aside which I hope to get up to at least $200 by the end of the donation period.

Curious Sle, if you want to give 50, then that is really great. Thanks a million. Since you want to give more than 20 then just go ahead and donate it. The 20 person thing is for donations of 20. If you really want to you could start a match with in a match for 50, but I would just Donate it straight, that will help inspire more too.

I just learned a lesson here. Now i really know why advertising agencies make such a big a point of using models on their campaigns

Thats great. I think we are at 11 now. From the messaging some of us did today I think we can reach the 20 by tomorrow. Money bomb... Well, that would defeat the purpose of the 20, but it might yeild something under its own pretenses. How about if we advertise for that to happen this friday? Im then going to start another 20 for 20 or maybe 50 for 20 or something like that depending on how this one ends up tomorrow.

We reached a total of 15. 17 if you count the 2 pending, 18 if you count the girl who wanted somebody to sponsor her, and 19 if you count JLL 2 and a half hours late.

Thank you all for offering to contribute to this match with in a match. This proposition has failed to reach 20 by the deadline. Of course, feel free donate to the whole research fund anyways, but your not bound by this matching 20 for 20 agreement to do so.
