hmmm...
I don't see trans-resveratrol on the label. It appears to be a 50%, but without knowing how much trans is in this, you maybe getting less.
As for the "Pharmaceutical Grade" ... don't pay attention to that if it's a 50% or lower grade resveratrol, thats just marketing.

Is there a standard percentage that defines "pharmaceutical grade"? Like some figure in a Pharmacists Handbook.

This seems like a 100% synthetic version blended with some proanthocyanidins. There is no information of whether the product is trans-resveratrol or not.

Typically the Pharmacopia standards are considered "Pharmaceutical grade":
The United States Pharmacopoeia (USP); XXIV / National Formulary (NF) 19
The European Pharmacopoeia (EP); 3rd Edition
However, there are no standards that state a difference in resveratrol as an herbal supplement. For supplements, pharmaceutical grade, really means the method they were manufactured comply with Pharmacopia standards, which most supplements abide by. So, you can say that most supplements are considered "pharmaceutical grade" if they are made in the USA, because of the FDA cGMP guidelines regarding identity testing.
As for being synthetic, that is a long-shot. From the label, this stuff was made in (bottled in) Texas. Even if synthetics were imported, they don't come in 50% purity. From the description here, it simply appears like they import raw materials and manufacture supplement products under cGMP guidelines: http://www.continual...ufacturing.aspx

Seems that way, but it's a pig in a poke. Don't worry about whether it's labeled "trans" or not. There is no natural source of "cis" resveratrol; it's all trans with a small level of cis. What I would worry about with this vendor or the Ebay guys is what the hell are you really getting, anyway? Maybe it's for real, maybe it's not. How would you know? If you buy it, and you know what resveratrol looks and smells like, that would be a start, but without analysis, you don't know anything about the impurity levels.http://www.continual...esveratrol.aspx

Even if someone does produce a COA, I'm still not sure what they are selling. How do you know the COA was from the same batch as what you bought?and they cannot produce a COA... I am not sure what they are selling.
