"Add Reply" and "New Topic...

All of a sudden, the "Add Reply" and "New Topic" buttons
don't appear on my Seamonkey browser, which is an upgrade
of the Mozilla browser.

They do show up on Netscape Navigator (which I have to resort
to using now) and Internet Explorer.

I believe this is a bug of the new forum programming.

Copying the links for "Add Reply" and "New Topic" from the latter
two browsers and pasting to the URL address window of Seamonkey
do show up their relevant pages though, and I tried this method to
make this post, which works.

Hello Tham.

All of a sudden,

I believe this is a bug of the new forum programming.

the "forum programming" has not changed since you last visit on August 11th.
Maybe there is an upgrade to seamonkey that makes life difficult?

I last visited yesterday actually.

Been using this Seamonkey version 1.1.16 for some time.

Just noted the above buttons missing only last two days or so.
Probably something to do with the forum's programming codes
for the chat window or something. There has been quite a few
changes these few weeks.

Seamonkey's Gecko engine won't display certain scripts written
in Visual Basic for Internet Explorer. Sometimes pages in certain
websites are totally blank.

I'll try checking at this Sillydog forum for Seamonkey users and
see what they say.

I've finally found the problem.

I had accidentally right-clicked "Block Images From This Server"
(a Seamonkey feature) a few days ago !

No wonder even the avatars and other images were missing.

Here's my topic in Sillydog's forum.

thanks for getting to the bottom of this tham - we really should have more 'alt' text behind all images, but its too big a task to check and retrofit them all.
