Sulbutamine side effects

Ellipticality's Photo Ellipticality 11 Jun 2011

I recently decided to give nootropics a try, I ordered piracetam, choline citrate, and sulbutiamine.

So far I have only recieived the piracetam and sulbutamine so the past few days I have taken sulbutamine only.

At first the sulbutamine works great but after maybe 4 hours later I begin to feel really dumb and tired and eventually develop a headache. Taking another dose of sulbutamine doesnt seem to help.

I really like the effects of sulbutiamine but I dont think I can use it if it keeps giving me these side effects. I suspect that it causes some other substance to be depleted. Any ideas what it could be?

I also have lost weight since taking it. Does it make you burn calories at a higher rate? I may just not be eating enough to compensate.

Thanks for any input. I am taking electrical engineering and could really benefit from this if I could find a way to stop the side effects. Also, what other nootropics might you guys recommend? I am interested in improving memory, focus, cognitive ability, speech/social ability, and mood.

Thanks!

BTW dosage of sulbutiamine has been 1g in the mornings

Taking too much, lower it to 200mg twice a day, or try 400mg in the AM
