stem cells regrow human teeth

I read an online discussion regarding this issue, but it provided no news links. Can anyone verify that stem cell science is being used to replace parts of the body?

Ive heard it wont be used for quite a while...
Ive heard being used within 3 years and to being common within 10 years time...
10 years seems quite a long time just for using them to grow teeth, its not like you are growing a new brain
