RACETAMS NOW SCHEDULED IN AUSTRALIA?
enlightened 29 Oct 2012
I just went to make an order for some Aniracetam on Cerebral Supplements and it's no longer listed. I emailed them and they said they can't sell it because Australia has just scheduled racetams!
How am I supposed to get it now? What sort of a doctor gives you a prescription for these things?
UPDATE:
Seller said that because Aniracetam is an analogue of Piracetam it's also banned.

Does this include noopept? Or is it structurally different enough to not be considered an analogue?

I am not sure. I can't find any pages on the government websites about it. 'Apparently' you are allowed to import but not sell. I ordered some Noopept last week so see how i go.

Not seeing verification of this online with aus dept of health.
Here is a list of added items since 2010
Here is the original list
Is there a list or some other law I'm not finding? I don't even see piracetam listed. I think I'm looking in the wrong place.

I have never been able to find the list myself. They must not make this information very easily accessible.

I think only Piracetam is in Schedule IV, however for other racetams it's still legal to import.
I sold oxiracetam some months ago to an Australian guy and everything went fine.
For fellow Australians here's the full list :

And indeed only piracetam is listed there.
Tough luck though, Australia seems to be very coercitive on drugs, even supplements such as selenium or aspirin are in Schedule IV

The nanny state strikes again. Thank you O wise and masterful overlords.
I ordered Noopept from the UK to Australia. It was only 2g so it came in a letter. It got through fine.
