I usually take small doses of Ritalin or Concerta ranging from 2.5mg min to 10mg max.

I've found a sublingual dose to be helping me better with my ADD, compared to an oral.

I was wondering if there were any pitfalls to this route, like faster development of tolerance?

ANyone here prefer the sublingual route?

Not to sound like mom but I'd switch to another medication if possible. It maybe another drug that is more effective for you . l'm aware you are treating ADHD symptoms but obviously doctors will view taking Concerta sublingually as drug abuse.

That said from what I can understand the positives are:

Faster onset
Increased bioavalibity

Negatives:

Decreased duration of effects
Long term benefit? Tolerance is always a bitch.

I'm not really against the sublingual administration of Ritalin just be informed:
