What is Hydergine prescribed for in Austra...

Just wondering, as I know a doctor that is favourable to nootropics, but I have never asked him about hydergine. Can GP's prescibe it, is it it restricted like Modafinil?

Hydergine is known to have all the following effects:
1. Increase blood supply to the brain.
2. Increase oxygen delivered to the brain.
3. Enhance metabolism of brain cells.
4. Protect the brain from insufficient oxygen supply.
5. Slow the deposit of the age pigment lipofuscin in the brain.
6. Prevent free radical damage to brain cells.
7. Increase intelligence, memory, learning and recall.
Yes it is a restricted substance here in Australia. here is a copy of something I received from the TGA when I asked about hydergine.
"Please note further that the Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Drugs
and Poisons (SUSDP) places Hydergine and Centrophenoxine (meclofenoxate)
into Schedule 4 (ie prescription medicine). This means that when the goods
are sent to you, along with the medicines, documentation (either a copy of
the prescription or a letter from an Australian-registered doctor) which
demonstrates clearly that the medicines have been prescribed to you. This
is a legal requirement."
Are you in melbourne? Who is this Doctor I wouldn't mind talking to him

My brother ordered some, it got past customs as almost everything does save a certain list of substances.

Yeah, I am thinking about ordering some with my next batch of noops. I have heard a few other people say that they have received it no problems.

I've ordered this from cognitive nutrition and it arrived without a problem.
I've never had a problem with customs, ever, and I import a lot of stuff.
