Long term stem cell storage: anyone do this?
drtom 27 Apr 2014
Greetings,
I'm looking for any companies that will harvest stem cells from adipose tissue and/or blood and store the cells plus plasma.
The stem cells can be resuspended in plasma at a later date if needed.
Freezing should essentially "stop the clock" for those stem cells.
I also want complete control over when the cells can be thawed and how they can be used.
I'm NOT looking for cord blood banks...they don't harvest and store adult stem cells.
Everything seems to be strangled by bureaucracy these days!
I'm in Australia but am prepared to travel if need.
Any tips/advice welcome.

I actually did this. It is probably not an understatement to say that your info changed my life, so thank you! Granted, it cost much more than that. Details here.
