I checked the prices at Purebulk, and the capped NAC was way more expensive than Swanson.  The uncapped NAC was $9.25 for 100 grams, $64.50 a kilogram. 

 

Swanson, capped:  11.6 cents/gram

Purebulk, powder: 9.25 cents/gram or 6.45 cents/gram. (kg qty)

Purebulk, capped:  20.5 cents/gram!

 

I've been through the capping-it-yourself thing, and I now understand why it (usually) costs so much more to get things pre-capped.  Even at the kilogram price, I wouldn't dream of buying this in bulk.  You still have to pay for the caps and the capping tools- it's just not worth all that work to save a few cents.

 

Sorry ironfistx, I have no idea if the Ajipure NAC is worth the money.  It isn't that much more, so it's your body...  The problem with NAC is that it's not the safest thing in the world.  People report issues with mucous membranes getting messed up, and in a mouse study it was found to cause pulmonary arterial hypertension (at some dose...), a serious disease.  These may be low frequency side effects, and PAH may or may not be a problem in humans, but it's still something to balance against the expected benefits.
