How much is too much of drinking water?

vtrader's Photo vtrader 06 Sep 2015

I've noticed that when I drink around 2.5L of water I fill energy wise better compared to drinking less.

Then I read in heatly and fitness sites that these people drink a lot more, something like 2 gallons, 5-9L a day.

The biggest problem of drinking just 2.5L is the inconvience of going to pee every 30-60 minutes, can't imagine doing that with 5-9L.

Sometimes I need to travel using public transport on short notice, I can't plan my toliet breaks.

Does the need to pee get less as the body gets use to drinking large amounts of water?

What are you experiences of drinking many liters a day?

how much can the kidney take in a period of time?

People who drink huge amounts of water are probably doing it because they're sweating a lot.   It's unlikely that normal sedentary people would need 5-9 liters.

I think your body needs some amount of bad stuff so it can work properly and not lose function. together with the majority good molecules. to become and stay stronger and not become weak too quick.https://www.nytimes....fy-physics.html

Don’t really keep track but I’d estimate 100 onces per day.  I think it helps me flush toxins from working in a major city.
