Best l-Lysine supplement?
birthdaysuit 30 Dec 2015
I have been taking l-lysine to balance out the lysine:arginine ratio. I have recently threw it out due to controversial fillers and flow agents.
I’m looking for a vegetarian l-Lysine supplement that does not have any flow agents or expedients. Does anyone have any brands worth sharing? I appreciate the input!

Have you a take on LEF's L-Lysine? My wife, and myself sometime, have been using it since several years.

Thanks, looks good!
Between Purebulk and PowderCity, which is a more reputable brand? Powdercity posts their CoA’s and is less expensive so I might purchase the PowderCity L-Lysine HCL.
My urine amino acid reference ranges showed that my arginine levels exceeded the reference range, while my lysine was at the bare minimum. I have altered my diet accordingly and I will say that taking L-Lysine has been a miracle for my anxiety.

Haven't tried PowderCity, always been satisfied with Purebulk. Purebulk has a CoA request form, if you leave out the batch number, like I did yesterday for their Vitamin C, they will send you the CoA for the latest within hours.

Even if nothing fundamentally against the usual medication (beside cost) the LEF's L-lysine has been very effective for my wife and myself to strongly mitigate HSV outbreaks when taken at very first signs/symptom. I realize it is maybe an old and maybe outdated remedy, not working for everyone, but we fond it effective. We take it about 5-10 days course at 1240 mg/d.
