Does levodopa have a permanent positive effect on the brain apart from all the side effects?

Does the dopamine stay in your system after you quit using it to be used by your body?

Does it go to the right part of you brain for motivation and reward or your whole brain or what?

what drug would you use to boost it, amineptine? I'm having trouble finding a good one...that or selegiline/rasogiline? I wanted to boost it permanently though fuck I read on a site that it stores the dopamine in your neurons from levodopa.
