Ethosomes

aconita's Photo aconita 30 Jul 2016

This is an interesting article about ethosomes:

It doesn't look like overly difficult to make your own and might be quite interesting for the deliver of poor bio available substances, ursolic acid comes to mind, for example.

Any practical suggestion? :)

Aconita, I understand from the article that ethosomical preparations are available at least since 2007. Makes you wonder why ethosomes are not all the rage right now....

I have an idea though it may not be very practical :) :

In the Nicotinamide Riboside topic everyone agrees that NR is powerful and promising but there have been discussions about safety of long term oral use of 1 gram or more/daily. Then there is also a savvy contributor who insists that taking NR  rejuvenates  only certain parts of the body. At a certain point of the discussions some people suggested liposomal NR delivery which IIRC was refuted straightaway (for reasons also explained in the article you linked to).

Now if you think you can procure some pure NR ( the sublingual variant available commercially might suffice?) and make a ethosomal preparation, it would be exciting to see what happens if you apply this 'NanoNR' daily on, say, age spots. What happens if you boost the NAD locally of cells near wrinkles or of the follicles of graying or thinning hair? You wouldn't need any permissions or expensive setup for  a simple test  on one or two people.....
