How is l-thp for you in your experience, in comparison to olanzapine for example? I am interested in taking a d2 antagonist, 5ht2a antagonist that are natural. Feverfew and l-thp come in my mind. This would be a mechanism of action similar to olanzapine
I don't know I have never tried L-THP. Since it's also a D3 antagonist I'm not really interested in it at the moment. I've only found 1 user-reviews about L-THP in English and it isn't really positive (because it's sedating according to the user).
What's Feverfew?

I've been taking Liftmode's Sleep Caps here and there which has L-THP in it. Works well to put you to sleep but makes you feel really groggy/depressed in the morning, I suspect this is due to the high dose of melatonin per capsule. I'm looking to try out L-THP on its own but it's out of stock right now. It should theoretically be perfect for stim comedowns since it's essentially a natural herbal Seroquel.

Definitely update this when you try it. I just ordered this to tryI've been taking Liftmode's Sleep Caps here and there which has L-THP in it. Seems like L-stepholidine is useful as well but hard to find.

It might be worth checking out LifeSeasons Pain Bloc-R. It also includes L-THP. Two capsules of it before bed works just as well as two Liftmode Sleep Caps. However, it doesn't make me groggy/depressed in the morning like the Liftmode product (it is much more expensive though). Combining it with 200 mg of Magnesium Glycinate makes it work even better too.

Why do you think that could be when it contains even more L-THP than liftmode? Maybe because it doesn’t contain Oleamide?

Not sure. In my case, I think it must have been the melatonin or oleamide that caused the poor reaction...or maybe another ingredient in Pain Boc-R is helping to counter things.

I've also been taking Liftmode's Sleep Caps, and do like the effects (which I attribute to L-THP. Having taken this @2-3 capsules per night for the past 3 months, I don't find it incredibly sedating anymore, and don't feel too groggy in the morning. That said, I have definitely developed a tolerance, yet don't feel the need to go over 3 capsules. Unfortunately, I cannot compare Sleep Caps to Olanzapine, as I've never tried it. But I have taken Seroquel once or twice for sleep, and if Olanzapine is anything like that in terms of groggyness, L-THP is a much better choice.

I hate the LiftMode Sleep caps, feel way too groggy in the AM. There's too much melatonin (1mg) per cap.

I hear you, I wish they had less per cap. Less is always more with melatonin.

I have been meaning to look into Glycine, as I know I'm not doing myself any favours by taking Trazodone/Sleep Caps every night. Also, because you're recommending 5g, I imagine that 1-2g Magnesium Glycinate has nothing close to that. Thanks for the recommendation

I can’t seem to find too much research on why it has the benefits other than it actually is a mild SSRI and regulates body temp.

If anything, it has drawbacks - I notice impaired cognition at higher doses. Definitely more of a short-term sleep aid than a long-term strategy for mood or insomnia. It may be too early to say, but I feel a lot better after cycling off the L-THP. I wonder whether the dopaminergic antagonism was affecting me negatively during the day; judging by the half-life (10-11 hours), I imagine it was. I've ordered some Magnesium Glycinate from ND and will start taking this regularly at night for sleep. It looks like 3g of this compound will provide ~2.6g Glycine.
