are hair tests to test minerals real?

ironfistx's Photo ironfistx 29 Mar 2020

I'm wondering if I have a mineral issue.  A few pages around the net suggested doing a hair test because apparently blood tests aren't accurate, for example, magnesium tests are supposedly usually wrong because your body uses magnesium all the time and doesn't store it in the blood.  Here, they say to do a hair test instead.

Previous to ordering one, I want to make sure it will give accurate results.

Thoughts?
