Bioinformatics - Online Modular Degree Program
They have modules that earn you credits towards :
Certificate Program
Diploma Program
Masters Program
It looks like they have tracks for both those with a science background and those who have a computer science background. I looked into John Hopkins U. Their program looked much more competitive and required a life sciences undergrad degree.
Take a look at the attached PDF.

This might be a good idea for some people, as the program at most "live" universities is ridiculously hard to get into. I remember only 5 out of a whole freshman class got in at my school.

Not to mention that live Unis are more inconveniant timewise, and that online courses can be cheaper. I still intend to take some live science (because in the end, it's what's respected) but an additional degree in bioinformatics would kick ass to check theories and prior testing to save time and resources.
Did Aubrey do this kind of stuff since he's a compsci guy?
