Hi,
Thorne reformulated their Niacel product from 125-250mg Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride to 207-415mg Nicotinamide Riboside Hydrogen Malate and added 42-85mg Trimethylglycine with it. .
If you google "Nicotinamide Riboside Hydrogen Malate" between quotation marks you get few results and all of them direct you to this product. and not a single result on pubmed. Anyone familiar with this? specially side-effect issues.
Thanks,
MikeDC

Here is another company selling Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride.
Since it is on Amazon there are a lot of reviews, some of which are probably real.
They also post the Certificate of Analysis of their product.
The reviews seem to indicate that it works as well as the Chromadex version.
At $40.00 for a 30 day supply, at 300 mg a day, it is significantly less expensive.
If it really works.
Interestingly, when I first researched Tru Niagen years ago, there was a negative review by a Dr. who claimed to experience heart arythmia taking NR, along with positive results. So he warned against it.
There is a similar. negative review for this new product, alleging arythmia was caused by the NR Cl product.

Actually I am mistaken about the cost. 30 days of Tru Niagen is around $47.00, which is not significantly more than NR C.
