Ascorbic via IM injection

muntjac's Photo muntjac 29 Jul 2022

Ascorbic acid is being injected IM by people with connective tissue disorders to upregulate collagen synthesis and stabilize mast cells. There is scant info about this protocol on the web, save one blog without much detail. Doses range from 500 mg to 1.5 g, injected weekly to daily. I may attempt this to help recover from fluoroquinolone toxicity, and the damage it did to my tendons and skin.

The issue I've run into is a lack of clear info on the safety of storing unpreserved ascorbic beyond the four hour USP recommendation. With refrigeration I'd expect it to remain pure for a month, but pharmacists won't speculate for me off the record. Should I search out an injectable ascorbic solution with preservatives and not take the risk?

no way it hurts too much does way too much damage IM or SuBQ. INJECTING can strenghten skin overtime force it to. the worst thing you can inject is something that has an immediate effect in the skin where it shouldnt belong in mass amounts

my sensory neurons in my legs were dysfunctional and so when I was injecting a substance like vitamin c IM Or SUBQ is damaging if not done iv the wound was getting worse and worse without me knowing because i felt no pain. then one day when i got my health in check all the build up damage done in the area of injection all the pain came at me at once. so in a way pain is good because it means your body parts are reacting and healing.
