Coca Leaf?

Never tried it, but I'm curious. And let me specify: of using it in the traditional fashion.
Anyone here have any experiences with it, can compare to some of the pharmaceuticals that we all may be a bit more familiar with?

Had a great deal of coca tea while in Peru. Never balled it up and kept it in my mouth for any period of time although some friends did. My experience, as was theirs using the traditional manner, was that the effects were very subtle. I've never spent that much time around 9-13k feet, but had no trouble doing so for those 11 days. Did it help? I have no idea.

I drink coca tea daily. I use about four 1 grams pockets a day. It has a slight effect on my mood and concentration but don't expect anything strong. If I take too much, I actually feel tired.

You get more out of it if you swallow it. It works pretty well but I forget to take it very often.

Colorful what? It's not a hallucinogen, AFAIK.

I would love to try this, but no where in the UK sells it.
I know of two overseas vendors that are highly rate, one being Peruvian and the other Bolivian. Problem is the supposedly "better" version (Maxi) can only be bought in 900g. I don't wanna buy this much if I end up not liking it.
I imagine it would be similar to a diluted Ritalin effect, with mental stimulation increased. Probably a numb mouth as well (due to alkaloids released when mixed with Sodium Bicarbonate). I've also heard there's no "comedown" per se, so I'm definitely interested. Obviously not classified as a typical Nootropic, but I've definitely seen it cited as great study aid due to its long lasting psychostimulant effects and its lack of 'jitteryness', when compared to high doses of caffeine.
