Is this what you're referring to?

If so, be careful I've heard it has a hellish withdrawal and many dietary issues.

Can I ask why you would want to try a non-selective MAOI over a selective one?

Be cautious with irreversible MAO inhibitors. This happened to me more than a year ago:

I'm glad I'm still alive. I will never forget the pain I had.
Obviously I did something very stupid, but it's easy to overlook a food and drug interaction with something that carpet bombs your monoamine neurotransmitters like an irreversible MAO.

Anyone currently using want to share feedback with me please?
I've used phenelzine as a last resort, and it did work for me! However, I got off of it once I was better for the reasons listed below:
These MAOIs are flat-out dangerous. I managed to give myself a hypertensive crisis from just drinking too much caffeine. I also developed low-level serotonin syndrome and didn't even realize it at first. Both of these conditions can be deadly. In other words, this is dangerous stuff. It really could kill you if you did something foolish enough. You have to be especially careful with alcohol and cheese: a high-quality beer or tasty bleu cheese could absolutely cause you serious harm.
Finally, note that it is highly anti-cholinergic. I found that taking galantamine XR ameliorated my sxs (low BP, constipation, trouble peeing, etc) very nicely. Be sure to start slowly on the ACh and work your way up, though-- you could put yourself into crisis if you just decide to start pouring ACh into your body!!!
