donating or selling blood, how fast can I...

I called up the Red Cross to donate blood, I was told they take out a pint of blood (16 ounces or 1 pound). How fast can I gain this amount lost? Is it through eating lots of food? Supplementing with vitamins if so which ones?
Someone mentioned on a thread somewhere to NOT donate to Red Cross as they do sell blood for $250. I might as well sell mines (not to Red Cross, they don't buy, they only accept donations)? Not sure if that is true about Red Cross though.

Maybe you could sell your blood to someone who really needs it. Someone who wants to be rejuvenated. i'd say i want some only i dont know how to transfuse it into myself. getting really desperate i have alzheimers

You'll gain the fluid volume back almost immediately, but red blood cell volume takes longer. Judging by exercise fatigue, my red blood cell count is mostly restored within 2 weeks.
This study found recovery (measured by hematocrit) varied widely from 21-98 days. Locally, I'm permitted to donate a unit every 2 months / 9 weeks. After 5 donations (and on a vegan diet), I'm still not anemic.
Red blood cell generation in pre-surgical patients (who donate for surgical blood loss) is markedly accellerated by erythropoietin, and supplemental iron if they're anemic.

from what I understand some of the B vitamins helps with the red blood cell volume (B12?). Also, I believe the steroid called Boldenone is said to boost hematocrit levels.
Seriously?

You might be able to die under good circumstances after all. I updated this thread.
If you make it a few more years (it sounds more like you're still in the dementia phase now), you won't have to worry getting blood donors. They'll just manufacture it, though it still won't be enough by itself. The best thing for you is timely cryonics. Don't be lead by desperation, it doesn't end well. Though I'm sure there are some who would help buy you just a little more time for good reasons, it wouldn't sustain you. If you can get cryonics and assisted suicide/physician assisted dying. Do it.
