Cryonics hardship fundraiser - success!   
We are thrilled to report that our matching fundraiser in support of the cryonics hardship case of Aaaron Winborn who suffers from motor neuron disease (Lou Gehrig's -ALS) has been successful. $1100 was raised by our members, which will now be doubled by LongeCity and send to the Venturists who are busy raising the full amount needed - they still need your help so if you missed the opportunity to donate at LongeCity, you can still contribute to this cause on the Venturist webpage

A new way to support life extension even while you are making money:  Via the 'just giving' programme, you can now you can now donate 10%+ of your profits to LongeCity with just an easy click. Donations received through this scheme will help fund not just the upkeep of our forums but also the scientific research, charitable support, community service, information, networking and outreach activities of LongeCity!
Professional sellers note: As an exception to our usual 'no advertising' rule, feel free to share your auctions on the LongeCity forums if you are using this method!

Reminder: LongeCity Science Funding: 2013 Call   
LongeCity continues to support small-scale, high-impact life extension research by multiplying community crowdfunding in 2013. As we did not find a good project to support in the last period, we are now doing something unprecedented: we are planning to not just double but treble any donations received in support of the chosen project! Total projects cost can be from $2K to $20K. Interested scientists apply now!

Reminder: Quiz contest 
One of the brand new features is our 'Quiz system', still very much in development this is a fun tool to strengthen the educational aspects of our site. As almost all other content on LongeCity, quizzes are community-generated, so it will be as fun and useful as you want it to be. 
There is a PRIZE for the best new quiz contributed between now and June 18th 2013
The winner(s) can choose between a cash prize, vouchers or other rewards.
