So far, the only one I have been able to find is ginger. Anybody know any others?

I know this post is old but I didn't want to create a new thread so bump.

I'm also pursuing natural nitric oxide blockers or nitric oxide synthase inhibitors. This is what I have found but Quercetin was ineffective for me and something tells me that Astaxanthin would be a weak blocker of NO.

"The present study focuses on the effect of various naturally occurring flavonoids (apigenin, galangin, morin, naringenin, quercetin, and silymarin) on nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in the macrophage cell line J774A.1. Moreover, we evaluated flavonoid modulation of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme expression by western blot analysis. Apigenin and quercetin (0.5–50 μM) were the most potent inhibitors of NO production and this effect was concentration-dependent and significant at 5 and 50 μM."

"Astaxanthin also suppressed the serum levels of NO, PGE2, TNF-alpha, and IL-1beta in LPS-administrated mice, and inhibited NF-kappaB activation as well as iNOS promoter activity in RAW264.7 cells stimulated with LPS."

Anyone know of something more effective?
