I bought 98% Resveratrol (powder) and my question is, how do I measure the dose I want to take? I know a teaspoon of Creatine is about 5 grams, so what could I use to get about 500mg a day, aside from weighing it? What is everyone else doing? Sorry if this has been covered.

I say the same thing when asked by folks, but a scale is preferable as it's easy to go over, or under the dose...

You can get an inexpensive digital scale from www.beyond-a-century.com, for about thirty dollars it is accurate and easy to use.

And maybe not. Every time I get a new batch, I weigh a level teaspoon. It's consistent within a batch, but different batches have different densities. Get the digital scale from beyond-a-century.com if you want to be certainI had been under the impression that 1/4 tsp was 1/2 gram. Now maxwatt says a level tsp is 1 gram so I have been taking about 1/2 what I thought I was.

Hi there.
I'm wondering if any of you know how I can measure out precise quantities of a powder fairly easily.
I am looking to buy some resveratrol powder and want to dose with 300 mg per day. Is there an easy way to pull a dose out of the powder in order to mix it with something?
Or perhaps I could mix all the powder into a HPMC suspension and measure out a daily dose with a dropper.

get a scale. Every batch has a different density. You can weigh several teaspoons, or quarter teaspoons, and get an idea of approximately how much you are scooping up each time.
I've had batches that weight one gram per teaspoon, others that weigh 2 gm per teaspoon. My current batch is 1.67 gm/ tsp.
BAC has a serviceable low cost digital scale at a decent price.

Also, measuring spoon sets apparently aren't all created equally well -- my 1/2 level teaspoon measure gives me .5 grams, but my full teaspoon gives me 1.4 grams...Hi there.

Cheap good scales (you need at least a 0.01 g scale)
http://www.wholesale...?...e=1&sort=4a
Cheap good measuring spoons (#3 on the list are molded stainless steel, I supplement them with #1 on the list for pinch and smidgen I believe this set is stamped but they are very solid)
http://www.fantes.co...ing-spoons.html
Place a small light receptacle/cup on the scale, hit the tare button to zero out the weight/mass. Take a measuring spoon scoop and level off your powder put the powder in the cup and voila you have the weight of that particular powder for that measuring spoon do it for the other spoons that are relevant and you can measure out a dose fairly accurately.
