I'm trying to find the name of a trilogy of books written in about the late 80's. This would have been young-adult literature, but I'm not sure if that label existed back then. The premise was a generation of children that had received a vaccine that resulted in them becoming immortal. The series explored the implications (social, moral, etc.) mostly from the POV of a male protagonist. Does anybody have any idea what the name of this book/series was? It's been steadily driving me crazy! ;)

Sounds interesting, I don't know-maybe you'll recognize it on some lists if no one knows the series out right and posts it heret:

Science Fiction books of the 1980's--with some brief descriptions, you can look up others if you recognize a title though: http://www.magicdrag...meline1990.html

A large list of Sci-Fi from different time periods with a lot of brief descriptions:

Some general mentions/lists regarding immortality:

Teen Sci-Fi?:

You could try asking someone who is an avid sci-fi reader-such as the person listed for contact on this site:

I know a cryonicist who has his own library of science fiction books from the past several decades--he might know, if you don't come up with anything.

Good luck with your search-hopefully you'll recognize the series title if no one knows it and posts, and do update which series if you find it ;)

Thanks for the links. I looked them over and didn't see them. I'll check with that one moderator to see if he recognizes it.
