Do you think it is possible or will be possible to create a new universe somewhere else?

Forgive me, this is petty, but it's *a* universe. Change the indefinite article to an "an" when the phonetics of the word begins with a vowel.

Some examples:

"A universe"

"An entire universe"

"A united people"

K, carry on.

Possibly we could in a future super computer. Inside such universe are intelligent beings (future AI) and we might even "upload" ourselves into such "universe".

Many physicists believe that shortly after the big bang the universe expanded exponentially for a short time. This era is called cosmic inflation. The elementary particle that is responsible for the inflation has not been seen yet, but there is indirect evidence from the microwave background that inflation really took place.

There are many models for the inflation. In some models, it is possible to create a baby universe. You heat up a small region to the temperature of the big bang. This turns the inflation field on and the interior of the bubble expands to a new universe. From outside, the radius of the bubble remains microscopic.

I want to emphasize that this experiment will not be carried out in the near future, since

- You need energies far beyond the power of the LHC

- Nobody knows which inflation model is he right one

There are further problems:

- Even if it is possible to create a baby universe, it is likely that the link between the two universes will be severed. The bubble in our universe will become a black hole that quickly evaporates by Hawking radiation.

- Even if there remains some kind of wormhole connection, its size will be microscopic.

- Even if you could blow up the wormhole connection, there is a big bang on the other side. You can wait until the baby universe has cooled down, but there may be different natural laws on the other side.

So it will be quite difficult to observe or even visit the baby universe. I am not saying that it is impossible, but much more research has to be done before we can say that the creation of a baby universe is possible in theory.

I have found the following popular science article via Google:

http://www.casavaria...ew-universe.htm

At the end, of the article there are links to the scientific papers. As I said before, this construction will only work if a particular inflation model is true. Moreover, it is likely that the energy of a magnetic monopole is 10.000.000.000.000 times higher as the energy of the particles that can be seen at the LHC.

I thought vowels were AEIOU

An Aeroplane
An Elephant
An Icecream
An Orange
An Umbilical Cord -----> An Universe!!!!!!!! Doesn't sound right.

It's the phonetics that are important here.

Universe, University, etc have a 'y' sound to start. like yooniverse or yooniversity

So you start with 'a'

Umbrella has a 'u' vowel sound, so you can say 'an umbrella'.

Same goes for say example

'Hour' You say 'An hour' because it sounds with an 'o' like 'our'. 'A horse' same letter at start but using 'a' this time.

It's not to do with being a vowel letter at the start, but whether the phonetics are a vowel sound or not.

Hmmm. We could create another universe.. maybe. Maybe it 'survives' for a fraction of second and is microscopic in size. But inside that universe, time and space seem just like our own. Maybe our own universe is the result of some alien in another universe performing a lab experiment. Our universe is about 15+billion years old. For that alien geek, a microsecond may have gone by. And in another of his microseconds, our universe will be finished...

There's also this theory I read that our universe right now is a computer simulation of a far advanced intelligent beings.

The rational answer is no.
