Hi guys,

Recently while traveling I was talking to women who where pretty proud of their doctor's to maintain their young appearance. My first thought was that these doctors did lipo and such... just like we have doctors here in the states.

But I was wrong...at least partially...

They talked about a few procedures like injected ozone therapy used to liquefy fat deposits in multiple sessions without going under the knife:
Here are a few videos forwarded to me regarding how it's done:

Spanish:

German:

I understand most folks want to be all natural in their youthful appearance, however maybe a new forum can open up to describe these procedures. As I had no idea such a thing was going on in other countries regarding plastic surgery... and apparently illegal here in the states.

Having said that...
I believe maintaining a forum like this can also serve as a location where folks can be introduced to Longevity science if it becomes popular for people looking for information. A sort of honey pot, where information plastic surgery can be located... we all know that folks interested in this in the short term solution will likely be interested trying to maintain youthful longevity in the long run.

Do you guys believe it can be something to consider?

Cheers
A

I agree that this is a potentially large source of people who could be swayed into longevity, I would even widen it to anyone who wants to look younger, after all much of the cosmetics industry and hair dye industry is all about making women appear younger than they are.

That being said it is a lot of work:)

I would be in favor of at least trying out a forum or sub-forum on plastic surgery. It is becoming more popular and closer to real engineering approaches to reverse the effects of aging.

There seems to be many forums, do you find that creating a new sub forum actually sparks more debate, my view would be that it sparks less as it diliutes the number of threads visible.

The sub-forum needs another name IMO. I for example would welcome information on facial rejuvenation with lasers, which is not exactly surgery.

Normally you can go do a free consultation about this, best to go to a few clinics first though.

As far as a potential forum name goes, I suppose "Cosmetic Enhancement" would be better than "plastic surgery".

The number of different lasers & techniques is huge, I'd want some background-information on all of the possibilities if possible.
