A friend of mine asked me if I know of "something" that can help for treating or preventing further mental cognitive functions detoriation in old people. It is for his grandmother, who is very old now and has many cognitive changes, she can't recognize her children and grandchildren, does not know where she is, etc., etc. I was thinking if someone from You can advise me about usage of drugs, strategies or other. Thanks in advance for those, who will answer.

The longstanding Alzheimer's thread has lots of info on supplements, herbs,
nutrients and drugs beneficial for just what you need.
Chyawanprash, the ancient Ayurvedic food paste, which you can even buy in
grocery sundry shops in India, is another low cost supplement to consider.
