That's somewhat of an unusual choice.  Do you mind explaining your rationale, because beyond subjective thinking, I think many would hesitate to rank him among the "greatest."

Pragmatism is probably the philosophy that most influences me, and it seems to follow directly from rationalism, utilitarianism, and so on.

I don't know what "the greatest" can mean... but, in relation with this forum, I would say that Nietzsche gave a definition to the transhumanism even before this word exists (with the idea of surhuman and the Wille zur Macht -not speaking about the book which was written by his nazi sister).
