Very interesting. Reminds me of the new high-tech "nootropic" protocols like trans-cranial stimulation, as well as Schumann resonance, the low-frequency electromagnetic field produced by the earth.

I don't recommend this product, and the web design is poor, but there are a few thousand studies on here, a bunch of presentations, and some books by the late and great Dr. Robert O. PEMFs cause epigenetic changes, cause myelination, neurogenesis, and more. I was actually planning on making a thread about all this in the very near future with dozens of studies and my personal experiences in an organized manner. I'm waiting to receive word from some companies who actually make good PEMF products on payment plans and the like and should be doing a second experiment soon. Full-body PEMF with varying frequencies and intensities can't be done at home, but you can make DIY pulsed magnetic coils for local treatment that some people have used on their heads. Dr. Bob Beck (not to be confused with Dr. Robert O. Becker) described how to make a variety of these units for very cheap at home. He invented and holds a patent on the first one, which was made from none other than a flash bulb camera and some copper coils. Check out Dr. Pawluk's site, too.

These were all acute, short term effects. Smoking meth may seem great in the short term, too. The long term effects are usually the opposite due to up/down-regulation of affected systems.
