I want to start a discussion on KOMBUCHA. It's almost free to make. I consider one of the most important things I take, it ties right in with the emerging information about the microbiome. I've been making my own for two years now. I think it's the best probiotic you can use.

Do you have a guide/tutorial on making your own? I have a scoby in my fridge, but never got around to buying the supplies to make it myself. I want to set up a continuous brew with a 5 gallon container, so all I have to do was keep it topped off with tea, sugar, etc.

I purchased a pre-brewed bottle of Kombucha the other day. (Never tried it before). I was amazed at how appealing & refreshing it was. Tastes something like a cross between green tea & beer. It had been flavored with ginger & lemon.

I have diverticulosis and other gastrointestinal issues since childhood (bloating, constipation).
After being hospitalized for a mild case of peritonitis in 2010, I upgraded my diet and began taking much more fiber.
About three years ago, i also began drinking Kombucha (pre-made). It settles my stomach like nothing else.
I only rarely feel bloated or constipated now.

anyone have any tips for increasing carbonation? i usually get a fair amount after around 8 days, maybe 1/4 as carbonated as a store bought synergy... but i can never manage to make a second ferment work, when i try i end up losing what little fizz i had to begin with.

I usually just get the pre-made kombucha from wegmans....chia seeds etc
Has tons of omega's....acidophilus, and super high levels of EGCG...
Also works well in synergy with other nootropics,
Helps achieve spiritual states. ESPECIALLY in combo w/ YOPO seeds.

Is that available in holland, the wegmans kombucha?
They don't have wegmans Store's in holland, so no,
You can look online though or see what international stores / super markets might carry it.
Depending on where you are.

Do you bottle and put in the fridge after about a week?
