The cost to build a Really Big Dewar facility to hold roughly 4.83M frozen heads is roughly $46/head and will likely bring the cost of cryonics by more than 90% making it affordable to all at $5,000 or less. At the $5,000 price point, a very considerable amount of funds will be available for funding cryonics and reanimation technologies. We have the ideas, we just need the means to fund them. I propose starting a GoFundMe to raise money for the accelerated development of such facilities which are estimated to cost between $150-350M. In addition to raising funds from individuals, I will seek to attract matched funding commitments from organizations who would have an interest in using our facilities such as Shriners, Children's Hospitals, and faith organizations.

We'd presell cryonics discount coupons and bank the money until such time as ground is broken on the dewar. At the time when the sale of the full cryonics procedure becomes available for under $5,000, the funder will be issued a discount on the purchase or a facility fee of such value will be waived. Institutional, and large donors with matching commitments will also be assigned a share of ownership in the facility which will generate additional storage rights at future RBDs from the facilities excess income.

As there are no time limits on the GoFundMe platform, the fundraiser will continue until the necessary funds are raised at which time we can allow the cryonics companies to start selling services that are intended to be stored at the Really Big Dewar facility and the fun begins!

I will lead this project and develop the media for the fundraiser. The Treasurer will setup the accounts for receiving the money on GoFundMe and track all commitments, handle perk distributions, and anything else related to handling the funds.

I will need $80 for one month of Adobe Creative Cloud access or volunteer who already has access.

Well, neuro at KrioRus is already $12,000, not much a difference to your $5,000.

There is a difference beyond the simple reduction in cost, this method has a higher relative profit margin to put towards research while also costing less assuming the lower price point attracts more buyers. KrioRus will also be able to ship patients to the RBD and benefit from the increase in efficiency and it makes sense that the next facility would be built somewhere in Europe. So there is a potential for all cryonics organizations to benefit and we'll be putting cryonics within reach for more people.

Oh and this estimate includes the preservation protocol used by Alcor. The Cryonics Institute and Oregon Cryonics should also be able to achieve significant saving, price reductions, and higher relative profit margins or excess funds by adapting to the RBD.
