The May 3, 2016 issue of the New York Times has an article called, "Medical Errors May Cause over $250,000 Deaths a Year. That just includes deaths in hospitals

A discussion about this in TV indicated that in office deaths brings the total to possible double this number.

They reffer that study:

And unfortunately there are not only the diagnostic errors, there are also treatment errors, that very often are completely unprovable, deliberate actions against the health of the patients (such as performing unnecessary diagnostic tests and treatments, including performing unnecessary operations to drwan the health insurance funds or the patient's pocket), stupid rules, that cause adittional damage to the patients, imperfections of the medical knowledge as general, thanks to which people still die from heart attacks, haemorrhagic brain injuries, and cancers, mass sclae patient stupidity and ignorance, thanks to which the greed of the private hospitals thrives and plces the crowd in a closed cycle of health detoriation, absence of access to quality health care, which will rise in the near future, insufficient number of health personnal - dictors, nurses, raehabilitators, etc.
