I don't want to offend anybody but this discussion is sky high on speculation, bs, no facts and irresponsible conclusion making. This you dont sort out with babbling about potential causes but test test test test.
I agree, but then again, it wouldn't be Longecity if the conversation didn't go that way.
I would want more objective data to go on before I even start thinking about what to do. If you can steer the doctor to order some more obscure tests like cytokine panel, detailed endocrine (including T3, RT3, thyroid antibodies, IGF, HGH),testing for pathogens/infections, or other immune system tests a good doctor (IE, not the usual managed care doctor) can conjure up - even better.
Haha I hope I can do that. Doctors like that are hard to find around my area. So far my tests for liver panel, gallbladder, and pancreas came back fine. Tests for allergies came back positive for Penicllium mold, which is funny because that's what grew on my fruit in my apartment all year. And the worst part I was eating those fruits.
Whether there was a fungus or pathogen in the grapes I have no idea. I'm sure something microbial is causing the increase in acetylcholine which is what keeps triggering memories from the past for me. When I drank a jug of kefir a week ago I had experienced the same massive recall in memories from the past that the grapes did except on a smaller scale. I also felt a massive senesation of stimulation around the front of my head that lasted around a day. Also the immune activation/inflammation I felt around my gut from it wasn't pleasant in any way at all. Interesting how probiotic dairy foods are what seem to make my inflammation/mood/energy levels worse.
The cytokine panel and innate immunity analysis I will order once I go back to the immunologist.
On another note I'm still baffled at how a single dose of iodine in a drink made me have fungus in my stool for a week. Only after ingesting a huge amount of coconut oil did things start to stabilize.
When looking at Th1 dominance and immunity, I see how Interferons can activate IDO and skew the metabolism of Tryptophan towards Nicotinamide rather than Serotonin. I've looked at symptoms online for serotonin deficency and how it relates to personality and mood issue, and I seem to fit all of them. My gut is certainly messed up one way or another, with the addition of heavy metals also propagating the issue. My symptoms of depression all seem to fit what happens when your immune system gets overly active. Whether it's from fungus, heavy metals, or bacterial overgrowth I have no idea.
Serotonin plays huge roles in cAMP and long term potentiation and I've noticed my recall of information previously learned is beyond terrible. It's so bad I can barely remember the names of my professors from a year ago, let alone the material they taught. It's as if I've been passing through life without meaningful experiences that I can recall.
