Prone to exaggeration - Futurism news has this story recently: https://futurism.com...-to-a-new-drug/
One-off placebo effect? Some potential here? I don't have enough time to examine the treatment in detail. Anyone else have any insights?

How does the drug not have a name? Everything has a name. What do the researchers call it, "that stuff"?
Here's the press release linked in the article, which is almost as opaque about what the drug is or what it does.

...And here's an earlier press release from the same hospital about a new cancer drug trial, containing some actual details. Likely this is the same drug but I'm not certain.
Anyway this drug as a pan RAF inhibitor known as BAL3833/CCT3833. This encompasses a class of proteins such as BRAF, which is a major driver of most cases of melanoma.
