I wrote a similar posting some time ago, but i think this is important, so I do it again ;-)

Games like foldit have been of great use, recently gamers have solved a problem in 3 weeks which hasnt been solved in a decade.

This could help finding cures for many diseases and further our goals in general, it just looks like the large population of mobile gamers isnt taken into account (except for one game i found recently "Genes in Space").

Shouldnt we do something to bring research to the tablet/cellphone?

Maybe get experts together and start a Kickstarter to develope such games, cause it looks like this part of the gaming* community has been overseen(as far as i can judge through my own observation).

What do you think?

*I wouldnt call them "Gamers" but casual Gamers, they are not interessted in the fields of gaming recognised as financialy interesting.

It may be possible to create an FPS for such a cause but personally I dont know how that schould work.
