Hello! Long time no talk.
I experimented with Deprenyl/Selegiline many years ago but discontinued use due to being costly and sometimes effects dragging on for too long.
My main goals was for stimulation and mood enhancer which it did deliver to some extent. The life extension features of the product were also very interesting.
I had then switched to the cheaper and more accessible natural supplement Shou Wu Pian/He Shou Wu/Fo-Ti.
These supplements seem very potent and produce a somewhat different effect than the commercial product.
Selegiline feels cleaner obviously but the Fo-Ti seems to be better for life extension.
The problem is that I cannot continue these because of hypersensitivity to it at this point.
I take a very small dose (a fraction of the recommended) and get very tired at first (normal effect) then the stimulation is clearly there the next day.
However, if I use it for too long I do get impatient and very irritable I have to discontinue.
What would this hypersensitivity linked to? Is the MAOI-B too strong or is my brain got too much or not enough Dopamine?
I have recently ditched caffeine because it stressed me out too much.
Perhaps I should try it again without the caffeine.
I wish I understood this product better because the virtues seems very worth while.
Thanks
