Is there a 2-10 minute version with the who, what, where, when, and how minus all of the accolades? Isn't the supercomputer enough?

Amazing that we need such an enormous machine and tremendous amount of energy to simulate and investigate what happens at the tiniest scales (fundamental particle interactions).

Has anyone ever thought about it? Using a "gazillion" electrons in a supercomputer to figure out how just 1 or 2 electrons and/or photons interact with a simple "real-world" molecule(s). It seems like it should be a lot simpler.
