I think it is merited to start this thread also today in response to the same lecture that Peter mentioned in a previous topic/post. The issue of the Singulairty is much balleyhood and little understood.
I was also very impressed by John Smart's talk and have separately invited him to come and participate with us here as well as now suggesting that some of us that weren't previously aware of the organization he represented become aware of thier activities. BTW, speaking of accelerated change, besides getting some rest if my output seems like it too is doubling that is because it is. The carrier pigeon modem is finally being relegated to back-up I have gotten a broadband hook up and my productivity more than tripled immediately. [:]
