For the past month or so I eat every day 200g of steamed salmon. This means that I get 4.5g of omega-3 a day. But now I wondering if this is a good idea. Aren't I eating too much of omega-3? Are there some downsides on eating that amount of salmon every day. I have read that salmon is one of the fishes that contains the lowest amount of mercury. So, for mercury I don't have to be afraid. But are there other contaminants in salmon?
