I'm posting this question here since it's something i noticed since using Retin A, and because it's something that keeps me up, and lack of sleep will age you....also I feel I'll get better answers here than on other forums
Basically my legs are very sensitive to dryness, or allergens, or static electricity (I have yet isolated the root cause). I itch nightly and it keeps me up. In fact I was asleep an hour ago until a sudden and intense itch woke me up, now I'm here.
Is there something with Retin A, even if applied topically to your face, that makes the rest of your skin more sensitive? Can dry skin alone cause intense itches (just sudden itches like a shock of electricity), or is that a form of contact dermatitis?
I notice static charges sometimes when I remove the sheets (I'm in a dry place during winter), and it feels like static charges hitting me, but the Doctor says it's just an allergy. My skin is also very dry in winter.
Opinions? Any remedies? Vitamins, or creams? Or anything else?
