My mom has this large cyst growing on her arm, and she won't have access to a doctor till February. Is there anything she can take or do in the meantime?

Its hard to say what she should do without knowing the exact size / type of the cyst and whether she has any other medical conditions that could lead to complications with healing. Some cysts go away on their own while others worsen and become gangrenous. Honestly, I would suggest she see a doctor regardless to avoid it getting dramatically worse.
Not to worry you, but I have an anecdote about a coworker that might make you think twice about waiting until February to see a doctor: About twelve months ago, we had a temp-to-hire employee who injured his foot doing a home renovation project. It was only a smallish cut, something that might have needed a few stitches but could have potentially healed on its own. Instead of seeing a doctor about it, he decided to wait because after four months, he would receive medical benefits through his employer. Two months later, the cut hadn't fully healed and he was getting pains through his leg -- it had obviously become infected. When his employer hired him on full-time, the pain had become almost unbearable and he finally went to see a doctor. It turned out his foot had become gangrene and they had to amputate it just below the knee after a course of antibiotics failed against the staph infection. This example may seem extreme, but if she is waiting to get it seen because of financial reasons, it might be smarter to get the cyst looked at earlier rather than later to avoid additional medical complications and the cost associated with them.

So a cyst can become that dangerous? Damn.

It potentially could be, depends on the type and severity!

I heard drinking some cranberry-type of juice may help suppressing the cysts or could've confused it with gallbladder/kidney stones etc.
I've suffered from cyst too. I've a cyst too since 12 or 13 years old, in the lower-frontal part of my right testicle, first talked to a GP and he felt a pee-sized lump too, then referred me to a urologist. The urologist never did any radioimaging/ultrasound etc, just examined the testicle and asked me questions like if I smoked/drank or had sex. He then said it's cyst. he asked me if i wanted to remove it, and i was scared of a scalpel cutting there so i declined. I've monitored it occasionally through testicular self-examination and it never grew much larger/harder. I drink some juices like Cranberry, grape, grapefruit, but not sure of what supps would help.
