If a food contained telomerase, and I suppose meat would qualify, it would have no effect on your telomeres. Telomerase is a protein, and it would be digested into individual amino acids if it was eaten. Are there any foods that contain telomerase naturally?

If what you want is to be able to ingest something you can buy over the counter to prevent your telomeres from shortening, Vitamin D supplements are an option.

Anywhere from 2,000-5,000 IU of D3 daily seems to be ideal.
